It was a fun weekend on the farm.

In addition to the usual cast of Characters, we were joined on Saturday by Morgans family.

• Mom and Dad:  Marty and Annette
• Sister:  Madison

We met for lunch at Kani House and after a great lunch came back to the farm.  It was rainy, but we didn’t let that stop us.  We fished in the pond for the first time and despite a couple of major downpours the girls (Meagan, Morgan, Madison) each caught a fish.  The rain kept the weather cool.  We also played with the Donkeys, the Bolick girls played on the four-wheeler, and then Marty taught them how to clean the fish.  Before we knew it – it was after 7.  The day flew by.

Enjoyed spending time with the family, we were hoping to find a basic couch set for the living room and the furniture store was not only closed but apparently no longer in existence even though it was still listed on their website.  Backup plan?  Beer and a trip to Home Depot to get some paint to freshen up the house.

Hopefully before next time we have friends and family to the farm, we will have a place for everyone to sit.
